Perry LaForge

A wireless industry veteran, Perry LaForge is the founder and executive director of the CDMA Development Group (CDG), a trade association comprised of over 100 of the world's leading wireless operators and manufacturers. He is retired from the management consulting firm of Pittiglio Rabin Todd & McGrath, where he was a Vice President and Partner. While at PRTM, Perry oversaw the company’s growth from twenty to over four hundred employees, led the firm’s expansion into various domestic and international markets and headed the company’s telecommunication practice.

With more than 20 years of working with high-tech companies and responsibility for overseeing the expansion of CDMA technology throughout the world, Perry is influential in the wireless industry. He is known for growing companies, building global business partnerships and being a driving force behind the worldwide expansion of wireless communications.

Perry has helped pioneer the development of CDMA since the proof of concept trials in 1988. He was instrumental in the introduction of CDMA as a second digital standard around the world and in its evolution to next generation digital technology.

His technical expertise, involvement in the global standards process and vast industry connections makes Perry a sought-after keynote speaker, analyst, quoted expert and advisor to government officials setting telecommunications policy throughout the world. He has an impressive track record for spotting emerging trends, building support for new ideas and uniting people in pursuit of technological innovation.

Perry graduated from the University of Santa Clara with a bachelor's of Engineering degree (magna cum laude) and was awarded a master's of Business degree (MBA) from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
